Privacy Policy

MFTC is the client app for Marathon Fitness Training Center. This page explains what information the app collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what your coach needs to train you and bill you, we share it only with the services that make the app run, and we never sell it or use it for ads.

What we collect

• Account details. Your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and emergency contact. If you train at home, your training address.
• Health and fitness information. Height, progress check-ins, coach-assigned task completions, and the meals you choose to log. Intake questionnaire answers, including your occupation, goals, and the health background you share with your coach.
• Bookings and schedule. Your sessions, standing time slots, reschedules, and schedule requests.
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers. We keep records of your plan, charges, and payment status.
• Family accounts. If a parent or guardian manages accounts for their children, we store the family link and each child's training information under the parent's management.

How we use it

We use your information to run your training: booking sessions, managing your schedule and membership, charging for services you sign up for, tracking the progress you share with your coach, and sending you service emails and in-app notices such as booking confirmations and schedule changes. We do not use your information for advertising, and we never sell it.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make the app work: Stripe for payments and Postmark for delivering email. Your coach and facility staff see the training information needed to coach you. Nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to your information is limited to your coach and the staff who run the facility.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information while you have an account with us. You can delete your account and its data yourself from the Account tab in the app, and it takes effect immediately. To correct your details or ask a question first, email trainwithmftc@gmail.com and we will take care of it.

Teens and children

MFTC serves student athletes aged 13 and up, with parents and guardians able to manage accounts and billing for their children. The app is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will post the update here and note the new effective date above.
